Get it

Eat more, know more.

Two words that shouldn’t sit together, which is exactly why they do.

Every food app takes the same side. Eat less. Endure. Feel guilty. Even the gentle ones just say the restriction more softly.

Patternist takes the other side. Food is already a pleasure, and willpower was never the problem. You just couldn’t see what you were actually doing, so every meal became a small guilty guess.

We made the seeing effortless. You talk, it logs, it tells you why. No rules. No shame. Understanding does the rest.

A person who can see their own patterns is simply freer. You are a set of patterns, not a column of numbers.

What we hold to

Care, not judgment.

Food is never “bad.” Overeating isn’t a verdict on you. It’s information about you.

Honesty over hype.

We show you the margin of error. We never promise miracles.

Your call, always.

We suggest, we never command. “Could add half an egg,” not “you must.”

Craft.

Beauty is respect for your time and your taste.

Private by default.

Voice isn’t stored. Photos aren’t stored. Nothing is sold. Delete it all in one tap.

What it isn’t

Not a diet. Not a game. Not a scold. Not surveillance.
Not a doctor. Not a chatbot.

About the maker

I put on weight at a desk. So I built the app I'd actually keep.

I'm Andriy, a creative director. Twenty years in branding and advertising, at agencies like Leo Burnett, Y&R and Wunderman, on brands like Nike, Microsoft, Ford and IKEA. Today I run ESNS, my branding studio, and build products of my own.

Creative work is a sitting job. Long days at a screen, lunch whenever the deadline allows, dinner at eleven. Over a few years it showed. I didn't eat badly on purpose. I just never had the time to look.

I tried the trackers. They wanted every gram weighed, they flagged my days in red, and they looked like something I'd hide in a folder. I didn't keep any of them.

So I made the one I wanted for myself. You say what you ate, it fills in the rest, and over time it shows you why you eat the way you do. And it's made with the care I'd expect from anything I keep on my home screen.

I know who else it's for, because I've worked beside them for twenty years: designers, directors, writers, musicians. Deep in the work, food handled last. If that sounds like you, I hope it helps you too.

It's one person's work, so the "we" on the main page is mostly me. If something is wrong or missing, write to me directly at hello@patternist.app.
